im almost level 20 and i found a snorlax today..... CP 134....FML

hatched a 10km egg and got a cp 34 hitmonlee. this game hates me

I'm telling ya.. didn't see it at all jump out in front of me like that.. I was about to kick it but there was alot of people looking at me at that point.. I didn't hit it hard but it sure did make a loud bang which brought everyone's attention to me.. all I could do is shake my head n walk away.. I did get the low level pokemon I was looking for though.. lmao .. it was a real good stupidity moment

They definitely changed something. 90% of the guys I encounter run away if I'm in the car

Not sure if mentioned already but:

If you find a rare Pokemon but it has low CP and you're close to leveling, you can run away, level up, and then try to catch again. Leveling changes the CP of a Pokemon, even one that has already spawned that you have already tried to catch.

It's a risk though, because the CP can also go down.

But if you get like 46 CP Dragonite or something and you're close to leveling, sacrifice some evolutions and maybe you'll get lucky.
