sounds like they did some fine tuning from the pc versino for console tho
its easier easier to find items ect ect but yeah thats pretty much what i said...

4 player game, have to stay in one square, can't run off.
Have to all go to town same time if someone wants to.

actually, you got me there. I loved gauntlet legends.

Not saying D3 is good or anything but D2 PVM was the exact same... it wasn't hard at all. People didn't play a lot of PVM in D2 like they do in D3 (obviously there being no PVP for a long time didn't help).


And immune monsters weren't that big of a deal, you could skip them if you really needed to. Didn't increase the difficulty much at all. IMO what made D2 live a long time was:

- Ladders
- PVP system
- No respecs (so people had to restart their characters, sometimes many times over, kept people playing)
- hard getting to 99 (baal runs always alive and well even if they aren't "fun", kept people playing)

Kinda wishing i never bought the PC version so I could warrant buying the console version

If someone wanted to play it on xbox with mics and casual play time, I would probably be down
