well, when the game is sloppy we usually come out on top. nice to break the losing streak but can't play like that all the time.

Would you guys trade away markstrom for Jack hughes straight up 1 for 1, assuming markstrom wants too much term like 5+ yrs?

Interesting thought.

NJ desperately needs a goalie and Demko is probably ready to take over if that did happen.

I don't think NJ would be interested though even if they are in a bad spot between the pipes.

Sweet fuck, no. Honestly he keeps playing like this he's going to be a Hart candidate.

Only fitting the 22/33 retirement game was dominated by GODstrom. Bless Sweden.

Otherwise they were skating in cement in general and the Hawks were just faster and stronger all around. Thankfully they will only play 3 times the next 10 days and they're all home games, nice lull in the schedule to rest and hopefully play with some sort of cohesion.

This is why I fucking love Gaudette. Team full of pussies? Guess I gotta stick up for myself, pussies better figure it out.

Gaudette is 6’1, 170lbs and Murphy is 6’4, 212lbs

Murphy probably thought the kid wouldn't fight him after hugging him at the start. Then again, it's just Murphy.

Everytime he scores a goal he is so pumped too!

He has worked really hard to become an NHL regular.

That kind of enthusiasm should make a team better. There are some passengers who need to at least come close to matching his effort level.

Another tough setback for Michael Ferland.

He was forced to leave yesterdays game due to a recurrence of concussion-like symptoms.

It was his first game back with Utica on a conditioning stint.

You have to feel bad for the guy. Obviously he wants to play but I think management would be best off to step in and shut him down for the season.

Hopefully he can play for us next year. However there is a chance his playing days could be over.....

I don't want to see him be added to a long list of pro athletes suffering from brain injuries due to concussions after their playing days are over.

On a side note could someone fill me in on the implifications this will have on his cap hit? If he retires or goes on LTIR what kind of cap relief would the Canucks receive?
