The summer league I play in is $350 all in, 18 games guaranteed + 2 playoff games minimum. No games on Fri-Sun for July/August and typically only 10% of our ice starts after 10 PM.

Where do you live? Actually in Eddy or surrounding?

yeah summer is 350.
winter is 700

but either way i just play for free and can pick and choose when i want to play hockey/work or have a night off.

and its edmonton.

Yeah we play in the AMHL, I like the league. They typically get fairly good times, but I'm sure if you're subbing you mostly get asked for the gross ice times.

meh div 1 was good times,
div 7 was trash times.

playoffs were pretty good though, mostly around 8 on weeknights which is pretty legit.

only shitty thing about AMHL is the odd changing rules

Yeah the changing rules are kinda shitty and I also dont like that high sticking a puck is automatically whistled down and face off is in your end.

We play Div 2-3 during summer, Div 4 during winter. Pretty good team but like most beer league team our issue is our depth. We have 4-6 solid players and it kinda falls off from there :/

So tonight, a guy on the other team snapped his tibia just below the knee 4:10 into the second

by the time the ambulance came there wasn't enough time to play any more...

generally a handful of solid players, and rest are either brutal or just manage to scrape by.

Yeah exactly. What was the competition like in Div 1? Pretty solid? Myself and the rest of the guys are always kinda curious what the higher divisions are like, personally I think its just more depth throughout and their weakest players are actually good players in comparison to our team. But Div 1 does allow ex-pros / ex-dub players so there must be some really good players?
