I think this year might be different. Other years you guys were always considered contenders so trading Marleau didn't make much sense, but if you continue to struggle there might be larger changes.

It already started this summer with the new coach and the new/young captain.

Doug Wilson is probably fired soon anyway.

pavs isnt that young.... hes 31 been in the league for 10 years

also, none of those 3 teams really have the cap room to take on his contract.

and trading within the division?

He's younger than Thornton lol XD


And cap room isn't a big deal at the deadline, especially if you retain salary (which you want them to do 'cause it means a larger return).

What's happening with Gaborik ? Took him in my pool and he has like 2 points in 15 games so far :(

Gaborik is a goal scorer that depended on being much faster than most of league, the problem is he has slowed down and isn't super fast anymore and he was never the most skilled stick handler. So without his speed he isn't as effective
