I don't know why anyone would want him.
He is toxic.
During his entire career he had one incredible season with New Jersey because he actually trained and took hockey seriously.
Any other time the guy was never fully invested and/or had significant injury problems.
He does not have a winning mentality.
He's the best player ever in the NHL for shitty teams because he comes with 1oa lottery luck intangible.
Huge mistake for Buffalo if they let him leave before taking advantage of that, especially when he brought his toxic losing mental is good to the team already.
It's nuts that Buffalo is so bad despite their core actually being insane. This is why teams should refrain from intentional tanking for lottery, selling almost everyone for picks & rushing prospects to the NHL to take up the voided space, and acquiring players like Hall that is quick to give up and create "it's okay to lose" mentality/environment in the locker room.
Few days ago, hall literally said "let's be serious, we're a lot of points out of the playoffs. We should be playing loose and playing free."

i get he's just being honest, but the team should always try to play the right way and constantly improve so that when they're ready to compete, they are ready. Rather than "playing loose, and free" and letting that become a habit.
PC fucked up hard trading hall away for Larsson, but in hindsight he definitely did the right thing and getting him off the team. He would've been a genius if he ran away with a huge return for him though.
