It is all or nothing for the Canucks it seems.

There has been lots of games were they had 40 shots or close to it and were lucky to get one goal, if any.

I feel bad for Murray because his save % took a huge dive. However when you break down the goals:

- Virtanen with a great one timer from a dangerous location

- Miller with a very nice deflection + traffic in front

- Excellent snipe in close by Petey. Murray could be blamed for this opportunity as he had poor rebound control from the initial shot.

- Boeser with an in close snipe off a nice pass.


for 14 shots on net they sure had some A+ chances that t hey cashed in on out of those. Murray can only be blamed for one goal to certain degree imo.

The other goals are not going to be stopped often. The shot total is piss poor and they got dominated in the second but I am trying to take some positives from this game as they did beat an elite team.

If they can get strong goaltending and have the skill guys bury their chances this team has a fighting chance.

This is one of those advanced stats I can put my weight behind.

Just shows how dangerous he is.

Just add a couple of 5pt games to the remaining 40 games and he's back being explosive like his rookie season. Ya it is funny.

He is over PPG and he talks about how much better he can be and how he wants to be the guy relied upon every night despite his age.

He has the skill and the right attitude to go along with it.

Only works when you can get phony phantom powerplays against the oilers tho.

This was a good win. Everyone in the lineup contributing, playing generally disciplined with a purpose, didn't break in face of shitty reffing.
