The Canucks actually did not get outshot heavily this game as they have been recently.

Price played great. The Canucks had their chances but once again scoring 5v5 is a huge concern.

Time is running out for this team.

They need a streak that sees them win 5/6, 6/8 or something like that to get back into the picture.

This is becoming more unlikely while the losses pile up...



To make matters worse it appears Dallas has finally figured it out this year and Phoenix is pot commited after acquiring Hall.

Looking at the teams the Canucks will have to leapfrog to get back into the playoffs paints a very grim picture.

Ep has 21 penalties drawn to 4 taken so a positive 17 in that regard. Next highest is eichel at 13.

so we were outshot 29-14 in a game where we literally had 5-on-3s stack. still won but the deck was stacked.

only this team makes a 4-1 win not look promising

That first period 5 on 3 powerplay actually looked fucking great for once.

Pittsburgh shoulda just threw 6 skaters out there from the opening face-off imo
