Even if you live at home I don't see why it's a problem. What do you say to your parents? Can this girl, my "friend" sleep in the room? No you say this is my friend she is going to sleep over tonight. Then stay up until your parents are asleep and then do what you're going to do, either where you are or quietly in your bedroom.

I went to school graduated, and started another career. I was there for 2 years, was making more money than I am now, and working less hours.

my mom needed help, she asked me to come work/take on part of the business. its family so I said yes.

there are some benefits, and there are some disadvantage.

but people assuming that I was handed out a job bothers me. I work hard and this place is doing a hell of a lot better because of it.

If you work at a place that your family ran, you're going to get people who accuse you of having your job handed to them. It happens to me all the time, even though at times before I got my business I was putting in a 70 hour work week.
