your out west it costs like twice as much to live out west vs in ontario
unless your in like toronto or something then its expensive as fuck

and i think outwest minimum wage is like $3-4 more then in ontario because of it

just looked it up min wage here is actually 11.25 so its not even 12-13 like i thought
seems most provinces are trying for a mutual $15 min wage which would be interesting

if the cost of living doesnt go up in ontario but min wage goes up that could be pretty sick
but then again whats it matter when the province is losing mass jobs on a yearly basis

My friend in north carolina has a 2 bedroom for like $450. I'm jealous as fuck.

i think my sister and bro in law rent a 3 bedroom app for like 750 a month+bills
$450 a month got my freind an "app" all bills paid above a bar had a bathroom and basically a big living room with a sink in the corner
really it depends you can get some good deals and sometimes you dont like theres full app buildings specifically for government housing or people on welfare that are 450 a month 3bedroom apps all bills paid
but you cant get in with a real job its retarded and thers a huge waiting list but normally to rent ur paying bills+ 600-900 depending how lucky you are

im not sure what a 1 bedroom app goes for really
150k can you a decent house in the burbs in my city but if you want lakeside property ect ect obviously its more

hell on the corner thers 3 appartments and hes always got welfare people in there and they have like 2 bedrooms big ktichen decent living room you can find cheap places around here lol
knew a guy that lived in there with his gf and kid for a bit its not bad the only reason they moved out is because her rents bought her a house and let her pay for it with welfare

its not run down its just not really the focus of anything like toronto or ottawa
its just a small city it doesnt have a lot no theater ect ect but we dont have like detroit status abandoned houses stray dogs and shit
just a lot of old people and the east side has a bunch of drug addicts welfare people and people working trying to make a legit living with cheap housing
west side is like teachers middle-high class lakeside properties ect ect americans have cottages along the lake

its not like a great place to live but thers way worse we dont have homeless people crime is so low we dont even have a cop station in the city they have the odd cruiser from others sit around
most nieghbors on the west side are reasonable normal people you can talk to hell our neibor is a retired teacher from northern ontario and he cuts our grass sometimes
the one across from us wife works as a nurse and husband does maintenance at nursing home
on the other sie of us guy let us use his net for a month or 2 when we got behind on the bills
old lady behind us loves to garden her daughter is a lesbian who fixes lawn mowers
then we have a single guy who had a gf but now doesnt i guess and 2 people just moved in seem like a mid 20s couple that like to party on the weekends fire and get drunk

good area with good people but if you want to do anything you pretty much gotta go out of town but 15-30 min drive away for theaters or shopping malls or anything which isnt that bad really you do that in big cities
were close to niagara falls too like 30-40 min drive away the falls themselves arent that big of a deal when you live this close but they got a ton of shit you can do there
if you like asians you could legit go to the falls and try to pick up like 10k different asian girls daily asians love that fuckin place thats gotta be like a top vacation spot for asians
