According to the rulebook, a player is determined to be offsides if both of their skates completely cross the blue line before the puck. Seems like that’s exactly what happens there so I don’t understand

Note 2: A player actually propelling the puck who shall
cross the line ahead of the puck, shall not be considered
off-side, providing he is actually in possession and
control of the puck with one skate in the neutral zone
before crossing the blue line
He had both skates in the offensive zone before the puck crossed the blue line therefore the play should of been an easy offside call upon review. But let’s get real it’s the pens. /end crying homerism.
