I have never seen any stats to support that more men are abused by their spouse than women are.


I have seen that more are raped when counting prison stats though.

I agree there should be more support for men who are victims of rape as well.

But NO victim of rape should be told it's their fault

the situation being bad for men is not an excuse to make the situation worse for women by victim blaming.

I agree no one should be blamed before a trial occurs that's my I honestly think media should not be involved until after the verdict has been reached then report.

I dont really agree with how that survey is conducted in order to draw the conclusion that more men are abused.

but even if its 45-55 or 40-60 as is the lowest you could think it was after reading that article the numbers are stilll surprising.

but as i say, mistreatment and lack of services for men is not a reason to distrust women's accounts.

Nor are the anecdotal experiences we may have with false accusations. (for example drago saying that as many lifes are damaged by false reporting as by rape.)

Well I can guarantee you he's searching 'more men raped than women,' as opposed to 'rape statistics' etc, and posting whatever shows up.

Still if you read the article even being hyper critical, it references studies i trust much more and the numbers are still surprising.

All im saying is thats not a reason to assume kane is innocent, nor should we immediately assume hes guilty.
The discussion was originally that we are too quick to blame the victim if the accused has any level of success.

It's not unbelievable that men are raped more than women especially when I back it up with the stats.., you're just being a stubborn prick as usual.

Skipped a few pages, but it went from dirtyman immediately assuming that the woman was making false accusations for personal gain, now trying to validate this by saying more men are raped?

I never once said anything to suggest I was blaming the woman in question. All I'm saying is lets not jump to conclusion for either side. If it turns out kane is a rapist , then he's a rapist, but people shouldn't burn him at the stake before a verdict is settled, nor should people assume she is lying.

It's cases like these where peoples reputation can be tarnished even if they are found not guilty.

Stop making sense.

Also just to remind everyone, if Kane settles that isn't a confession of guilt. The unfortunate truth of the legal system is that sometimes it costs less to pay someone to go away than it does to prove you're innocent. I doubt we ever really find out what happened.
