pretty much, tanev elevated hanafin to the next level to give him some elite defensive numbers

also the team didn't have much practice cuz they have the toughest schedule to start in the league, however that's gonna change after this roap trip. So hopefully they get their shit together and start playing like a team once they get more practice and rest.
Any other year it woulda meant less but after losing some character/leadership/core guys and getting new faces in, you can tell they're playing more as an individual than relying on each other and playing as a team

just going off stats and TOI, Tanev was definitely the best D-man on Canucks last season, but I didn't watch the games

You could give Tanev the toughest matchups with big minutes and he would do just fine.

He really is missed.
