so?
he does bag skates n shit ,,, he keeps himself in shape just becasue hes old means he cant play a lot?
if anything i think the bag skates and extra training is what tires him out towards the end of the season
sure it keeps u fit and ready to go then but after a while that shit will take its toll he is up there in age

the guys dedicated to play... how can u not want him? he still palys good too not like hes ahl quality
he could prob play in the top 6 on most teams

yeah, i think he can play in the top6, i was just responding to the other guy who trolls 24/7 here

the biggest reason why older players cant play is because the body takes longer to recover from exhaustion

Hearing rumors that cleary put an offer on the table of 3 years 2.6m per and Detroit is trying to clear space to accommodate. If true that's a joke to play a 3rd liner who will only steal a spot away from a more deserving player.

Guy only plays well during playoffs of the year his contract is up for renewal.

More Melnyk. Supposedly set a salary cap at 50 million and is saying he can't afford to invest more in either the team or city. This comes following two city council decisions to block a) a major league soccer team and b) a casino.

Melnyk says there is no plan B. He won't sell or move the team but he can't expand much without another revenue stream.
