he was offered a contract in the development camp but turned it down to play with minny. is n1

It SEEMS or LOOKS like it because the guy is a prospect and we haven't seen anything yet. If he will be what people say he can be, then sure it IS worth it.

As Chreeeis is saying, Luongo IS a top 10 goalie whereas Bjustad is a prospect that CAN bust... many others have.

Don't know why you can't fathom a prospect not panning out lol.

Canucks Ass GM on Vancouver Radio (same guy who signed Doan to his first contract in WPG)


- Said the GMs + Owner had dinner with Doan and it went "well"
- Doan does care about money but it's obvious he wants to win bad
- Owner reiterated that he'll do everything he can for the team to help them win because he wants to win just as bad as Doan
- Doan is still researching possible destinations, wants to know all the facts/info
- If Doan is asking for 30M over 4 years, Canucks will pass

- Gillis is still talking with "several teams" about Luongo and won't rush into any decision... AKA try to build leverage, but lol
