After a 2-0 lead too. This team couldn't beat the Sabres right now. If they played the Sabres would win.

What turned out to be the game-winning goal was a short-handed beauty late in regulation.

Ending a seven-game losing streak in style. What did you think about the Travis Moen acquisition?

I could watch old Mike Modano highlights all day long.

The Stars have a tough road game against the Kings tonight. Hopefully they can gain some momentum after that last win against the Coyotes. After a tough three-week stretch and long losing streak that they just had they're going to need about five or six wins in a row. A win tonight can even them at 6-6-4 in the standings. Not all that bad considering the circumstances of their recent struggles.

He was a wall last night. Kari Lehtonen shut out the Kings last night. 2-0 Stars win. 27 saves total.

Talk about running out of gas in the third period tonight. It was a back-to-back night though. Stars and Blackhawks were tied 2-2 going to the final period and the Blackhawks scored four goals in the final period to win 6-2. The Blackhawks had a 47-to-24 shots on goal advantage and Kari Lehtonen was bombarded for all six goals allowed unfortunately. His GAA is going to take a hit. He can't be Superman every game in net when the defense breaks down so much.

Wise man. But I actually thought the Stars would put up a fight tonight. They did for two periods. I had a small bet on the Blackhawks +1.5 which now looks like overkill. I feel guilty for not just betting on the Blackhawks but I nearly homered and bet on the Stars instead. I figured the Blackhawks would either lose by one goal or win the game. I didn't expect the Blackhawks to dominate and win 6-2 with a big third period.
