As a note, every teams best odds is to drop.

Detroit's highest % scenario played out in dropping 2 spots (~36%)

Still interesting to see who dropped the most I guess.
Of course it doesn't paint the full picture as a drop from 1-4 hurts more than a 5-9 or whatever.

yeah definitely, it hurts more to drop from 1-4, but the odds of that happening are far more higher than middle top 10 teams dropping few spots each year.
for reference, lolnucks

had a 10.6% chance to drop at least one spot in each of the last four drafts based on where we finished each season.
had a 3.4% chance to drop as far as we have.
had a 72.5% chance to get at least one top-3 pick and...
had 31.6% chance of at least one #1 overall.

They don't let you guys get top picks because of the pressure it puts on those poor kids.
Quinn played one shift and they were ordering a new name plate for the Norris 😄

lol it's a kneejerk joke, but yeah he got standing ovations like sedins returned fmro the dead. It's just finally nice to see someone that can effortlessly skate the puck up into the zone instead of turning it over for a breakaway or drop passing it or dumping it in and hope to retrieve it
