apparently blizzards servers put an old deleted character on your account and if you delete it the account goes back to normal
i had my BO barb from last season with the #1 name vanished but shouldnt have expired but name was taken decided to google and sure shit had an old lvl 1 barb of a deleted char that was not lvl 1
deleted him and my sorc and barb reappeared so tellin you guys as a heads up
