You get a decent amount when you level up from 11 - 12.

Also, you start to get them from pokestops. I only use them when i find a pokemon i either dont have or is a really high level that i want. Pokeballs usually take care of most of them for me, so i have just as many poke balls as great balls usually.

what i dont understand is like half the ppl playing pokemon go never played like other pokemon games or gave a shit growing up
all of a sudden its like 90% of the population is playing pokemon go and gives a shit

Who cares, the more the merrier. I never played Diablo 1 but I still no-life'd Diablo 2.

But it definitely is more fun for those of us that grew up playing Pokemon :D
