Gladiator.
I'm with DD + LuLer on this one too.
You can judge movies and conclusively say one is better than the other if you base your judgement on everything (acting, cinematography, writing, plot,
You can also have an opinion on which you like more, which is not necessarily saying it is better or not. This is basing your judgement off a single criterion, entertainment.
An example used in this thread of this is colours. You can choose red or blue, they are based on your enjoyment of the colour.

if i cant prove you wrong that way, ill prove you wrong at the way your looking at this dilemma.
do you know what an absolute truth is?
rock is harder than water. the number 10 is a value higher than the number 5.
you cannot prove that gladiator is absolutely better than troy.
Of course you cannot prove this. If it was a universal truth it would have to be better in every single category every single time.
It is not, because on category is entertainment value, which is purely subjective.
Let's use hockey sticks for this.
You have a choice between all of the top of the line equipment from today or top of the line equipment from 1910.
Comparatively, the equipment from today is better in nearly every single category.
Sure, you could prefer to use the equipment from 1910, but that's based on your personal preference, not basing it on the integrity of the equipment itself.
