Yeah, he might, but there's no sure way of telling it and the odds are stacked against him. His teams defense is subpar right now and he's having a rough time. Remember when Fleury had a good defense in front of him?

there was a really long best active goalie thread right before last season started. the vast majority of u guys had price as ur top 5 goalie in the NHL in the last few years. so if that doesnt mean hes elite, not to mention his all star game appearances...

Lulz. He was average this year and before 2011. He had a couple elite-ish years but isn't established at all. I want him to succeed as much as you but he has absolutely not reached that level yet.
Brian Elliott would be an elite goalie by those standards, just saying. He had one good year. Ignore the .855 years he had before it.
