Nonis knows his job is not on the line.
He wants to see if Reimer is the real deal.
If Reimer and Scrivens fail miserably, this draft is amazing and we can get him in the off-season.
If they succeed then we dont need Luongo.

Thats the worst possible scenario and its not that bad.
We want to win, and think Reimer might be able to do that for us.
Guy has been solid in the past, if we can win without giving up assets for a goalie and reimer is the real deal, then Reimer and Scrivens are actually a solid goalie pairing.

reimer had stretches where he did good got a concussion and sucked ass for the rest of the season

I was once the biggest guy on the Reimer bandwagon, i think he's sick. Ive seen what he can do.
Ben Scrivens will honestly give him a run for his money too, Ben Scrivens is very comaprable to Ben Bishop calibre goalie.
If worst comes to worst they aren't what we thought, then we can STILL get luongo later, and we will just add another prospect to the farm.

You want Luongo to come to Toronto so you can steal a good prospect of ours, because we are legit the only ones even thinking of doing so.
If the leafs dont want him, his price is wayyyy down. And youll have to wait til summer to improve your team. If Vancouver wants to make a run for the cup, a couple of added players will be a serious addition.

Say its Macarthur, or Kulemin, Bozak, heck even Conolly. Plus a Gunnarsson and a guy like Kadri who is apparently the requested Prospect.
Any of those guys would make the Nucks better than they are now.
