Because it's just not true. Stuart is much more physical, and when he did play on the powerplay he was more effective than Edler.

You do know that last year Stuart had to same numbers in the playoffs as Edler?

You do know that Stuart doesn't play on the Powerplay.

You do know that Stuart was a 3rd overall draft pick?

Offensively Edler is better, but not by much considered the roles. Give Stuart the powerplay ice time etc. and you'll be surprised.

I think what Nibbler is trying to say here is Luongo deserves the C more than Henrik.
Henrik is not leader material it's very obvious.

Compared to this season or in the past? because i really dont care about the past anymore. and this season well the canucks have proven to be better, but i guess thats why they play the games. We will have to see.

No what I'm saying is that to be a captain you have to be a great overall player in every part of the game.

If you are the best player on your team, you have to set an example. I want jay to answer this question.

He was never the "official" captain as its been a rule for a long time that goalies cant hold the captaincy.

I think last years post season and the fact that people(media) felt Luongo threw the team "under the bus" on post game interviews and shit is the reason why Luongo isnt the "captain" anymore.

Was a stupid move in the first place, goalies need to concentrate on their own shit and dont need the added pressures of the captaincy. (Off and on the ice)

It's worked out pretty well so far this past season.

Panthers doesn't have a captain anymore since mccabe got traded. got three solid As that are vets that help the young ones out there

idk, i dont think some1 who doesnt play everything sets a good example
