If a goalies on a hot streak you're not going to beat him with unscreened wrist shots and slappers from the blue line.

Florida defense screened their own goaltender for two of the goals. They need to be a lot better.


Marchand was a beast. He was blocking shots, dump ins and lob passes with his stick.

Excellent player in the lanes. Hand eye and awareness top notch. Very noticeable in game 1.


Hopefully the Panthers work on their breakout. Boston is playing 1 man in aggressive and they will play hard along the boards. Tough team to break out against.

Paul Maurice will need to make adjustments. 40+ shots, but too many perimeter shots without screens.


Bruins are a far better team than the Lightning in terms of playing along the boards and defending against the breakout of the Panthers.

Tampa just wanted PP time. This Bruins team believes in themselves 5v5 and they work hard to make it difficult. FLA needs to adapt.
