Hey guys, so finally got the police report and made a call to the other persons insurance. They have a guy coming on wednesday to i guess look at the damage. I know to bring the car to repair places of my choice, but anyone have any experience/advice about these types of things? lol

He's just gonna check to make sure the damage was done by the accident, and that you're not trying to get front bumper work done when you were rearended or something. Should be pretty standard, you shouldn't worry too much about it. If there's any damage to the car that was done and had nothing to do with the accident and he asks you about it, just make it clear you realize that was done in a different instance and aren't gonna try to con the insurance company into fixing that too.

so when i bring it to the repair shops and they give me quotes or w/e, does her insurance have to pay one of the quotes? or will they try to give me what they think they should pay and we have to negotiate?

You should be able to send the quote to the insurance company. Her insurance company will decide if they want you to get a second opinion (they'll have an idea of how much the damage should cost after the guy looks at the car).
