If he was gonna play gaudette to center 3rd,idk why he chose to waive Baertschi, even though he looked a bit hesitant from getting hit, can't deny he had chemistry with gaudette. Now he's gotta try to do it with leivo and virtanen...

Iunno can you have two in your bottom 6 not killing penalties or 3 haha. Can’t remember if virtanen does. Bringing in baertschi as well as gaudette removes 1-2 pkers.

Gaudette needs to learn to PK anyway if he's gonna be what we need him to be (elite 3C).

I bet if bae played instead of leivo, that would've been ez goals and ez assists by gaudette. Leivos a good shooter but damn he missed two freebies.

Got a huge problem when best forwards so far are Sutter and virtanen.

Newell needs to be fired, I'm tired of him deploying the drop pass when it rarely works, reminds me of Willie torturing us to watch Megna with the Sedins despite it not working. Power play needs to be way better than last season lmao

I don't even care that he missed 3 easy goals, that's why he's not a top 6 nhler. What pisses me off most is canucks still fucking using drop passes to zone entry, it's time to fucking move on from that when you have several players that can control the puck in.

I feel like the coaching staff is holding these players back in someway, hughes carries it into ozone with breeze, sets up scoring opportunities etc. But then he acts like oh fuck Im not suppose to do this! My coaches are gonna kill me! I shda drop passed or gave it to someone that WILL drop pass and fail.

Boeser and Petey just standing around most of the game, complete opposite of last season. Maybe the staff told them to chill, we got good players to do that for you, be lazy this season and just be rdy to shoot!

95% of the Canucks couldn't connect passes and keeps making dumb passes or passing it to literally nobody. Wtf is going on lmao

didn't think too hard about how the squad was playing differently, thought they were just sucking individually and not being on sync. but it might really be the case that the coaching staff wants the players to execute a certain way, hence the drop pass fails.

huh. I've been very trusting of Green so far so if this is just a matter of the chess pieces being misplaced he can figure it out.

Not being on sync is one thing, but passing it to a player with 3 Flames around him is a no even in a beer league. They're forcing bad plays for the sake of the system than actually playing hockey imo.

Also passing it to no one once or twice fine, but more than that in the NHL... Felt like they were all playing without eyes and brain
