Edit: from looking at the replay, he did ok, though that was a weak goal for the goalie to let in. No faking a pass, telegraphed shot, but he took the initiative and exploited the hole in the isles blue line coverage without hesitation.

I'm definitely happy we've got him, but before long people will be ready for his rushes, and he'll need to pass it shoot without telegraphing it because goalies will be on to him.

Oh no, I watch the games wherever I can, I only use the analytics to help guide my eyes to specific details, because the eye is too easily fooled by success or failure when it comes to a player playing well or not.

Btw, previous post updated, just watched the immediate replay, though I can't wait to see what happened in his zone.

Edit: some say the eye never lies, others claim the eye is the biggest liar(pro nhl scouts on both sides of the argument) , but I see the truth being in between.
