There's some potential it's a career ending injury as the damage to his arm tendons is beyond severe. Double fuck.

Hopefully the Stars beat the Canucks tonight and improve to 3-1-2
The pre-game show is about to start in 13 minutes on Fox Sports Southwest.
It's going to be a grind this season especially with Nemeth out. He may return for the playoffs?

I made some peach mango iced tea and apple fritters. I'm getting ready to watch the game on the 60-inch in living room. Even in HD and on a bigger screen I still have trouble seeing the puck. I wish the telecast would highlight it with some type of glow like FOX used to do in the mid-to-late '90s. LOL, on my 19-inch Vizio in room where I got my computer setup I have to literally look at it a few feet away.

The Canucks look overmatched. Looks like the Stars brought their A-game tonight.

Goal city all of a sudden. 3-0 Stars right before the end of the 1st period.
Benn and Seguin are making it look easy. The Canucks may change goaltenders.

I miss seguin

Canucks are just frustrated now. Another penalty and Stars power play.
It's already 6-1 Stars and not even halfway through the second period.
Ryan Garbutt, Erik Cole (2), Tyler Seguin, Jamie Benn and Cody Eakin all have goals.

The Stars always rest on big leads. The defense intensity is lost sometimes. At least this time they held on to win 6-3. For a minute there I thought it was going to be Deja vu all over again and play out a lot like the Flyers game.

Kari Lehtonen made 43 saves. A few of them looked like sure goals for the Canucks. A 3-1-2 record is not bad and the Stars have been exciting to watch in every game played so far this season. The Stars have a tough back-to-back on the road: Friday Night at New Jersey and Saturday Night at New York against the Islanders.

Hopefully the Stars can find some good energy and pick up a couple of wins on this tough road trip. 5-1-2 record?
