Every single pick was a reach lol.... albeit the 1st two weren't as bad... Zach Senyshyn average ranking was 55th lol, that's well into the 2nd round. Not even looking at the drafting itself tho and I'm not GM , but having 3 first round picks b2b2b could appeal too any GM. Sooo yes that draft year was a HUGE miss in making your team go from stanley cup contenders year after year to the favorites and a dynasty type team.

Yep. Now Cassidy is gone. He wasn't the problem so this better mean Sweeney is gone. PLEASE.

Saw several rumors that they’re extending him 🙃🙃

I’m assuming Cassidy’s Locker room issues & consistently calling out his players after bad games probably did it, he’s a good coach

Better do it quick, won’t take long for someone to grab him
Cassidy has had to work with 2-3 lines of lacking scoring talent every year and got strong results. + defense hasn’t been solidified either
