I wasnt even arguing that it wasnt a gateway drug. My point is that by labeling all drugs the same it increases eventual useage of "harder" drugs because people assume once they've tried one that the others cant be that bad and that they are all equal.

Marijuana just isnt even on the same level as every other drug out there. It's like comparing a sandwich to a big mac and calling them all hamburgers

tbh weed is just the drug they tried first because its easily available and harmless they likely would have tried those other drugs regardless of smoking weed

but tbh if you want to talk about marijuana being a gateway drug i know like a fuck ton of people that started smoking cigs before weed or other drugs

ive smoked for a long time and dont do or have any urge to try more shit ive turned down a lot of drugs as well hell i barely even drink
it may open up some imaginary gates but i chose not to go through them and thats my morals stopping me and allowing others to step through not the weed get real

marijuana is definitely a gateway drug, thats irrefutable.
its not the biggest one by any means and isn't always the case but by definition it is absolutely a gateway substance

marijuana is as much of a drug as caffeine and less than alcohol
