According to the The Score, Bieksa and his family went to San Jose last week to look for homes.

The deal reportedly fell through not because of a disagreement on draft picks, but because they couldn't agree on a new extension. From the start rumors have said that Bieksa will only accept a trade if he gets an extension right away, which obviously throws a major wrench into things.
