Rangers absolutely wrecked us, they are clearly the best team in the East and I don't think there's a team that could beat them before the final.

We hung Hammond out to dry, how he comes back on Saturday will show his worth. Quite honestly though I think it's time for Andy to get his ass back. Not because Hammond just lost a game, I just feel like it's time.

Anderson is the logical guy for playoffs. Much as I like Hammond, you most often see stories like his because he's new and the opposing teams don't have enough film to figure him out nor do they have time to pour over what they do have since there are 28 other teams and 20 other players on ottawa to worry about. Playoffs are another story.

You can be damn sure sens first round matchup will have significant time devoted to Anderson and Hammond alone. Anderson's weaknesses are known and he's proven to overcome them with skill. Hammond? That's a roll of the dice.

I'm not even talking playoffs, I'm talking about our final 9 to get there. We should get Andy in now, why wait for the Hamburgler magic to fade, 1 loss at the wrong time could cost us our spot.

Huge weekend.

Ottawa @ Toronto
Boston @ Rangers
Florida @ Montreal

Boston @ Carolina
Florida @ Ottawa

This is a very important weekend for this race.

Yeah I had that in there too but navigated away from the page and had to restart  can't very well choose one goalie over another for playoffs but sit him most of the final games.

Yeah. Don't get me wrong I think we should play the goalie that gives us the best chance to make the playoffs. I honestly think that Andy is the guy, while we have been winning the last 3-4 games, Hammond wasn't playing as good as he was at the start of his streak. He also looks a bit uncomfortable since the collision.

And if we manage to make the dance, it wouldn't hurt to have Andy with a few games and in game shape.

Also the way it's going it looks like the 8th is going to play the Rangers, that would be a scary series for any team, although massive underdogs I would like another shot at them after that series a few years ago.

We played fine in the 1st.

The weak goal at the end of the first absolutely killed us. They also scored right at the start of the 2nd in case we had any hope left :D
