If his career is done, he'll probably be forced to retire instead of collecting his salary while on the IR. Just from a hockey perspective, it's an out for CBJ when it comes to that contract.

Voynov's lawyer is contending that the language barrier caused confusion while police were interviewing him and that's what led to his arrest. Voynov was cooperative and also confused as to what was going on because he has a poor grasp of English and couldn't communicate well what happened.

Take it as you will. I find it plausible but who knows if it's actually true, even if it is he may still have done something.

Oh Philly.

Andrew MacDonald will miss 4-6 weeks with a lower body injury. Coburn is still 4 weeks out as well
