Moen is playind ok, I'd just like to see him a bit more physical, particularly in games like sunday, where we didnt hear his name come up at all.
Nobody can be good every game. Armstrong is the only guy on our 4th line that really needs to be replaced. He's done nothing all season. I wouldn't be opposed to trading Moen at the deadline though if we have plans to get another fourth liner via trade or free agency. Prust pushed Moen off the third line so it would make more sense to trade Moen and get a fourth liner cheaper. A guy like Kyle Clifford or Jared Boll or if we use Dumont go for a grinder third liner like Nick Foligno. Heck I think Columbus could solve all our needs for some draft picks. Get Foligno and Boll and send them Armstrong, Gionta and some picks/prospects. Gives them a temporary captain for when they trade Jack Johnson. They're going to build most of their future core from the 2013 draft anyways.
We maybe need a better/more versatile #6 than Bouillon when Diaz healthy too. Someone big and physical like Douglas Murray or Clayton Stoner. Bouillon's been good and all but he brings the least to our D-core. He's like a lesser midget version of Spacek or Hamrlik. We've already got the non-crease clearing heart and soul D-man in Gorges, need a big motherfucker for the bottom pairing/PK.
