Byron should be a good grab for the Habs. It's unfortunate but there just wasnt a spot for him in Calgary.

He's good defensively, speedy and can move up and down your roster. Only issue is he cant score to save his damn life, he gets a lot of breakaways but rarely buries.

considering both of those guys would have been out of the NHL based on their play the year before they came to us, it sure did help them get paid.

PA had a pretty existing contract. Brier was signed by the Habs, so they're very different circumstances. One was traded for other was fa also. But yes the common denominator is they both sucker and got paid way too much. Dd doesn't fall into that group imo. Guy only makes 3.5. He puts up points. Works hard. I like him. Maybe a lil overpay but he's the least of our overpaying issues.
