It's already 1.40/L here, I wouldn't be surprises to see 1.70/L

They can't get away with that, it'll slowly go up from now on, and I'd expect it to get up around 1.50/L but not more.

Now's a good time to own a diesel vehicle, diesels been cheaper than gas for a little bit, now the gap is getting bigger than a few cents. Not to mention the better mileage which is why you'd buy a diesel.
