My googler machine tells me ~28$/hour but it must really depend on amount of trips you're able to make and length of trips etc. That seems like quite a high number, more likely its in the $15-20 range once again depending on the trips you make. ( https://ca.indeed.com/salaries/Driver-Salaries-at-Uber-Partner-Drivers )

IIRC, Uber pays a daily wage and then more money based on number of trips but you have to be 'active' on the app to get the daily payment.

E: Did more looking and found this article: http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/ottawa/uber-driver-says-he-made-eight-dollars-an-hour-1.3527435

Driver claims AFTER expenses he's making $8/hour.

is that like a fee hes paying uber or wtf i thought you used your own vehicle?
if hes counting his personal car payment in a free saying hes making less per hour because of it smh

Considering his vehicle is his workplace, I dont think it's that unrealistic to include it as a cost of doing business. Yes he gets personal useage out of it, but it's no different than any other type of work equipment.

So if I have a home daycare and I make 3000$ a month and my mortgage is 1000$ a month. I only make 2000$ a month in reality? You can add it to your business expenses but in reality you are making 3000$ a month.

If I sell hot dogs and made 2000$ but the buns and sausages costs me 500$ then I made 1500$.

2 completely different things

and like the guy drives 40.5 hours on $80 in gas thats unreal.. thats a week worth of 2 way trips to work for me yet this guy drives people around all day for that all week?
