Yeah but bieksa is almost guaranteed to either cause a bad goal or bad penalty once a game.

If LA doesn't like the board at the last second when they pick at 13 this year, they can give the pick to Carolina to satisfy the Sekera trade rather than next year's first.

how can they not like the board at 13 in a draft like this
and unless they plan on doing worse next season its a weaker draft+could be a higher pick why would you want that over a 13th in this years

Bieksa is god awful but I wouldn't be surprised if he does well on a new team in a sheltered role (15 minutes a game max against 3rd/4th lines).

I will literally jump for joy if he's actually traded.
