They has been quite a buzz that the sharks want to get lower than 9th to get one of the top 3 dmen, but I think we only have 1 2nd and no thirds

could always give a 2nd or 3rd in next years draft
although then again this is a super deep draft teams would likely want extra picks for this draft

yeah but look at ekblad the guys already a stud d man and this is a deep draft even bmac said a regular draft year strome would be a 1st overall
hanafin is good but honestly between him provorov and werenski it doesnt seem like that big of a drop off and the odds of them all being gone b4 7 is unlikely
i mean after 1-2 thers 5 picks 3 d men ..they can all get taken but then we can take strome of marner either way we dont get a bad pick

hextall did say he would trade up if the price is right though... i hope not id rather pick at 7 get a solid guy and build a deeper pool with our later picks
but if hanafin could jump into the nhl and play like ekblad i guess id be down with that too
