He didn’t stick his knee out one iota. He went for the hit and kadri’s Pussy ass tried jumping out of the way. Guy is a huge bitch that can give it but not take it. Oh and he only gives it if you aren’t looking. No place in contact sports for clowns like him.

debrusk's weight is over top of the knee preparing for the check, and his right leg, the one away from kadri is the one actually extended out at the time of contact

When players try sidestepping hits it's easy to make contact with the legs as they are the last thing to move

Debrusk was trying to level kadri open ice, not go knee on knee

That looks to me like debrusk lunging forward for a hit, look at his shoulder and posture, he is preparing to launch kadri. Kadri tries to side step and unfortunately not getting over enough (or getting over too much, depending on how you look at it) catches knee on knee contact. If he doesnt try to sidestep the hit, then he gets launched and there is no knee on knee contact, and if kadri does a better job at sidestepping the hit, also no knee on knee contact. Its his own fault, plain and simple. Either way you look at it.
