I thought he would go to a team where he would have a better chance of stealing the starter job.


But perhaps there wasn't that much interest for him in that role considering his short stint behind very strong defensive team.

prob not most teams that wanted goalies already solved the need
nj got cory s tampa got like 3 goalies leafs got bernier flyers got mason and emery ect ect

florida won't overpay for one. been discussions around pwnthers fans that nabby/thomas would be great to challegne markström for a year or two before he's ready

That's what I was assuming. NYI and FLA would be good places for goalies like Thomas and Khudobin who could challenge the starter.
