Flames offer sheet on O'Reilly: Contract AA:$ 5,000.0 2012-2013: $1,000.0 (NHL) - SB: $2,500.0 2013-2014: $6,500.0 (NHL).

O'Reilly details more clearly: 2 yrs .. 5M AAV ... 1m salary this year and 2.5 SB ... 6.5M salary next year.

i doubt calgary finishes bottom 3 with oreilly. they might make a push for 9th

Weird move in my opinion. Flames are likely somewhere in the 12th-7th in the West range this year, so it wont be a top 3 pick. That being said, they draft Jankowski last year (who's 4-5 years away still) and then make this move and further cripple their future. I guess O'Reilly is somewhat proven at the NHL level?

Edit: If it's only a 1st/3rd I kinda like the move. Flames are weak at Center and O'Reilly is proven and young. Flames suck ass at drafting (srs) so why would they rely on something there obviously not good at...
