hes not the heart of the team. hes not a team player. goes and takes 9 million to cripple this teams future for the next 8 years. hes the heart of the team because hes a wanna be forward and skates the puck into the offensive zone 24/7 turning it over 85% of the time? im sorry but its going to take more than a spin o rama for me to fall in love with a guy. just because these drunk frenchies see that shit, and turn him into their god, doesnt mean i have to as well. so the guy puts up points, the fact that hes been considered for the norris multiple times and won it once is a complete joke. it takes all credibility away from winning the trophy. the guy gives up more odd man rushes than probably anyone on the team. hes emotional? yea its not all good emotion. i can remember at least 5 games off the top of my head that he lost us last year in the 3rd period because he took a stupid emotional penalty in a close game. hes had more issues with team mates since being here than any other player in the last 10 years. hes been in multiple physical fights in practice etc. started shit with markov in his first year being here. hes come a long ways, and i think he will be a superstar one day, but hes not captain material of the greatest franchise to ever play the game.if he were on a team like ottawa or edmonton or some shit, then ok i could see it maybe for a few years because theres no one else. definitely not for the montreal canadiens though.
