Always jobs avaliable. It's only a matter of what do you want to do.

This.
And your bang on with your truck analysis. I bought one brand new back in 2010, love it to death. But regret it sooo, much

I've actually had a few places not even accept my resume because they say "There's no way we'll need that in the next 6 months, sorry" I was like :(

Cops like to pull over people driving fast in expensive sports cars, it's fun to floor it but it's a gamble.

If you're working construction (And you're not a foreman or above), all you need is something reliable, and is good on gas IMO. A truck will last you a long time but it'll kill you on gas, especially if you've got job sites all over the place.

yeah but u cant beat being able to load the truck up with your tools and material
saves you gas in a way you can do shit 1 trip instead of like 3
you say you were in construction but see no use for a truck? thats so jokes
e: around here most times the foreman can drive w/e cuz they dont do shit... then on the other hand thers guy with a laoded up cube van

I believe the Costco near me is actually owned by Hells Angels

why would the angels own a costco? they sell coke for a high price not everything else for a good price

lol, all Costcos are operated by the parent company. plus, production is like the most un-gangster area in B-town

First off, do your run of the mill labourer or worker, a new full sizes truck is far too expensive. It's basically a morgage payment in financing. Second of all, smaller trucks are still very expensive, yet don't have that much room anyway, and suck on gas. A station wagon or mini-van is far cheaper and has just as much carrying space as a small truck.

I tell my guys not to buy trucks unless they are sure they can afford them. Construction is voalitile, if you run out of work suddenly you've got $1000 a month payments on a truck you can't afford.
