You guys are making this a way bigger deal than it really is.

It's just a letter on a jersey. There are plenty of leaders in that locker room and one of them getting the C won't change that.

The C means everything.

When or if your team wins, you're the guy that gets the trophy, you're the guy that pierre mcguire ejaculates on pics of, that C is the real fucking deal.

Even if it only means something to 10% of people. Odds are 2 people on your team will care who the leader is. And if they're not happy with who it is, they may not play to their full potential.

You need every guy on board to win the cup.

I would be upset if we gave Price the captaincy

Pacioretty or Subban would be nice for the C

A's on the two above and/or Markov/Gallagher

you obviously dont watch the habs very much because subban is far less of captain material than any of those names you mentioned. pacio is a close 2nd worst to subban.

Just stick with 3 assistants. This way you give Price the "C" without actually giving it.
