I think the idea behind Talbot is that he could be a starter, he put up great numbers (yes on the rangers)
Talbot may be another good up and comer like Rask was when he was traded to the Bruins, it's hard to pass up on a guy who literally replaced Lunqvist for 36 games

Martin Jones would be a nice goalie to try and acquire but I doubt LA is willing to part with Jones, he'd fit well in his old Junior arena though, Calgary fans liked him.

I'd be open to either Jones or Talbot. I'm just really nervous about the asking price. Calgary is finally doing a rebuild well. Just don't want them to jump the gun and trade away too many picks or young players. In Trevleving we trust I guess?
