Totally wrong.
And you seem to think everyone will be running around with 300 mf sooner then later. But with it being calculated that 10 hour days of farming you won't hit 100paragon until at least a year
It is not about having 300 mf throught Paragon alone. It is about acquiring enough mf through paragon levels to damage; and eventually remove gf and mf items from the market completely.
Previously you would have to balance magic find and dps and calculate the best dps/mf/gf efficiency to maximize farming ability. The game already struggles with item diversity issues which has made the game feel stagnant to many players (myself ofc) - eliminating or crippling two key stats that used to be sought from the modifier list furthers the problem
I understand it will take awhile to hit max paragon - but hitting say 100 mf or 150 with paragon will not be difficult. The majority of the active players should be there in a few months which means mf/gf will depreciate by a minimum of atleast half of its value. Soon everyone will just use pure dps builds and mf/gf will be eliminated from an already small modifier pool.
This patched helped three groups of people. Botters being the biggest winners. Followed by those who used mf swap gear. Followed by Casual players who were drawn back into the game with flashy improvements that have little sustenance. Those who played legit and that had managed to stack items with gf/mf and dps/defensive items got the shaft.
Of course this is just my opinion - I hope everyone else enjoys the game but after being possitive about this game through alot of issues I have turned cynical because I feel I played the game properly only to get shafted in favour of botters, casual players, and mf swappers.
