idk if it brought in ror it might help their 1st line not be all - players... or atleast not that big of - players
whicch i think would be well worth it u cant have a 1st line rocking -30 on every player and expect to win

They need a lot more help on defense and Rielly is 21, which fits their program. O'Reilly isn't too much older but it's hard to find stud D-men.

if they were to trade MR they could potentially repalce him with hanafin in this up coming draft or another of the top d prospects
but then again i guess they could potentially draft marner/strome or something too ... it could go either way

its not like the leafs are a winning team what waitinga a few more years for a prospect to develop to fill the void
shit they can always trade that euro player they got nylander or something? they got some options


if ror can play LW id say hes going to philly we have way too many D hextall can do like 3:1 trade

Drafting Hanafin to replace Rielly doesn't really help. They need to add to Rielly, one good D-man isn't going to do it. Gardiner has been too inconsistent, hard to know what he'll be and after him the cupboard is bare.


Quantity =/= Quality. O'Reilly would fit as a LW in Philly but you don't have the type of D-man they are looking for (young top-4 LHD).

we dont have the D to move for a guy like ror and hextall is pretty tight fisted with his draft picks
were more likely to just ship out a bunch of depth d for 2nd-3rd round picks or something
