Dunno what to think about mitchell

He's what, 4C with penalty kill time and experience? For 1.2m that seems low risk to me.

I love Mitchell personally. As a 4th liner he gets the job done. He will add a little bit more than our 4th line last year which is necessary as they sucked ass.

He's like the younger version of:
Smolinski, Bonk, Malhotra,and all those. nothing special, but quite effective 4th liner with speed.

the real problem is our top 6

5.6% powerplay conversion in playoffs + 70% PK is pretty rough too. Scotty Bowman used to say an elite team has 110% combined. Chicago only hit 96.9% this year, but something happened with Habs' PK near the end cuz they were much higher in regular season.
Powerplay really needs to change though, that's brutal.
