Bolland has more offensive skill than it seems. He plays a defensive forward/pest on a team stacked with high scoring forwards (Toews Kane Hossa Sharp etc..) If given the chance I think he could surprise many with his offensive abilities. He was a scoring beast in junior and from what I have seen is a capeable 25 goal scorer in the right situation + his obvious defensive ability and elite 'pest' status. As far as what the lock room would think, I would hope a group of pro athletes could shrug of dome disparaging comments knowing that if this guy came to Van he would make us a much better team. I agree agree that it is wishful thinking tho... do not see this happening.
You'd hope they could put personal feelings aside but it's probably easier said than done.
Besides, we're talking about the organization that probably cares the most about locker room chemistry. That's why guys like Bieksa and Raymond are sooooooo important.
They are just such great people with great personalities, it doesn't matter that they suck dick.
